I was hella entertained as well.

Miike movies are just exhausting, and more like "can you believe that just happened/never seen that before/that's all kinds of unpleasant!" rather than "wow, that was awesome!"

Don't forget- while killing time after Pootie Tang, we snuck into something called Shrek, and were so appalled we left after 10 minutes.Bizhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10180586080956963425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25417895.post-4112822328209883772009-12-18T13:19:42.793-05:002009-12-18T13:19:42.793-05:00his best work was his cameo in wedding crashers. t...his best work was his cameo in wedding crashers. the movie was failing at that point, and then farrell came out of nowhere, and it was what he does best, play a skeezy dude who veers between normalcy and insanity, yelling nonsense.coachienoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25417895.post-50512958452839455762009-12-18T11:44:11.604-05:002009-12-18T11:44:11.604-05:00Ferrell's best work is Zoolander.

I remember sitting there with you in that dark, empty theatre, slack-jawed yet riveted as the credits rolled. anchorman, totally agree, not funny to watch again, but at the time the zenith of Farrell's career, save for his killer cameo in Wedding Crashers.

I'm surprised to not see a Takashi Miike movie on your list.

A.I., we saw that on a free twinbill with "Pooty Tang," what a bizarre night. We got up to leave, and there was still a solid half-hour left, you know, if it had ended where it was supposed to, it might have made the list for me. I mean A.I., not pooty.

dare i call bullshit on your "once upon a time in mexico?" i recall al k. miz and I losing our minds at its awesome-ness durign the movie and after and you not feeling as awesome about it. then again, i think the miz and i had been guzzling cough syrup.

but bruno??? that was pure garbage. same exact movie as borat, here's my wacky sidekick, here's my downfall, here's me putting people in impossible conditions, ugh.coachiehttp://sheahey.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.com
