Freddy & the Sports Guy

Understandably, Bill was running out of gas -I wonder if he occasionally has lapses on the blackjack table during late night runs- by the time I got him to write Sheed's tenet -that I take to heart everyday- but he should get credit for catching 'sobe' before correcting it. Major hat tip to coach for reminding me of one of my favorite quotes: I was prepared to have Bill churn out a Rocky quote, but the bar staff wisely instituted a five word limit to save Bill's wrist and sanity.

When told his spat with Mike was tearing me apart, he replied, "well he started it." Et tu, Francesa?

Professor Thoms' was a zoo, with the line going around the corner. Could barely stand in there let alone eat anything.

on a scale of 1 to 10 of ease, with the ny post being 1 and the ny times being 10, how difficult would it be to bring Simmons' book on the subway?

begrudging props to the times tho, for slimming its paper width and dropping sections, thus making it easier to read on the go and when one is not at a massive oak desk running wall street and making one's secretary procure ballet tix

I'd give it a 6. It's fairly compact, but the thickness and hardcover make it a little cumbersome.
