Full Respect to Uncle TNUC

There are a lot of blogs/tumblrs that sort through pop culture's detritus. This is one of the iller ones. Worth going through a few pages to peep all the sweet gems.

It's not a clock but you'll always know what time it is.

Encourage words for men like me. And could that bear/wolf be any more down?

Imagine being so in tune with nature that everytime you got that familiar itch in  your throat  a hawk or some ill bird would come swooping down to quench your unholy thirst.

Hot Photo Monday

Mondays are not for deep thought, they are for absorbing the first shocks of the week with as little thought as possible. What better distraction then, than hot photos? Peep and Persevere, Dunnies.

First up, Broadway Joe and O.J., with nary a Suzy K. to disrupt the convo. Best caption wins a Shea Hey no-prize:

On the more serious tip, I implore you to peep this link from the Denver Post featuring pristine quality color photos from the early 1940s. I've never seen photos this old of this high quality, it's definitely a trip to see such lifelike images of such a bygone age. via the always amazing uniwatch as usual. Here's a sample.

That Whiskey Wind......

Our pal, and lover of Gang Green, Al K. Mza checks in with another recipe sure to make your Sunday more sultry:

As the weather gets colder, is there any drink better than a dram of fine whiskey to warm the soul? Only when combined with the greatest of all instant desserts...the poundcake.

Ingredients:
One package Poundcake
Scotch, 2-3 shots to taste
Ice Cream optional
The best scotch to use here would be one with heavy fruit flavors and very little smokiness for a toffee like finish on top of the cake.

Slice and warm the poundcake, splash scotch shots over the top. Let soak. Finish with a scoop of ice cream.
Enjoy the game with the rest of the bottle.

Whatever Happened to Peace, Love and What's Happening?

Came across this unfortunateness in San Fran this past weekend. Heiro, were never into being gangsters. Who would peep a Heiro hoodie then kill a man to jack it? It's like shooting someone for a Grateful Dead tie-dye. Heiro is as close to hippie as hip-hop gets this side of De La Soul. Hard to get violent pumping this in your headphones.
