The Worst #1 Defense in NFL History

Have you ever seen a statistically dominant defense crumble on cue late in every big game? Week 2 against the Patriots seems like a long time ago. Defense looks downright Mangini-like.

Easy for me to say, but it doesn't seem fair when the offense can't do jack shit and the defense gives up its first TD on 4th down with two minutes left.

Allow me to retort:

Monday Night Miami game: Jets score late, defense folds in final two minutes.
Jacksonville game: Jets score late, defense folds in final two minutes.
Today: Jets score late, defense folds in final two minutes.

Happens too frequently for my taste. And did you see all the dropped picks? Darrelle Revis could've ended the game if he stepped up and held on to Matt Ryan's 3rd down pass. Jim Leonhard dropped an INT that bounced right into his chest in the 1st half.

class move by the fans, chucking snowballs all over the field as the falcons made their last drive.

Yeah, like those classy ones in Seattle. Happens all over America, dude.

And Asante Samuel could have ended the Super Bowl if he held on to Eli's ball.

I mean I get it, but score one more TD and you win those games, same with the Pats in the SB.

That they can't catch is why they're on defense and not offense.

Oh, and re: "downright Mangini-like," I'd just guess he'd have managed to get this one if he was coaching these (his) Jets. And the one against the Jags . . . and the one against the Bills . . . and Raiders . . .
